Q: Mac Mail SMTP connection keeps failing and not able to setup an MSN account either - Suggestions?

Suddenly my iCloud email account in Mac Mail for El Capitan is failing. Specifically only the SMTP server connection. In addition, My MSN account is also failing to connect. So I deleted it and then tried to re-create it. But now the MSN account is not even verifying my connection at all. Connection doctor only recognizes the iCloud account and only the IMAP connection, not the SMTP.

I tried to temporarily remove the plist from the ~/Library/Mail/Bundles/v2  but that did nothing. I thought it would at least re-populate it - nope.

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated
