Can I record live lectures using the ipod shuffle?

Hello mariafrompoole, I don't ever recall the iPod shuffle having a built in Microphone. And even if it did the IPod Shuffle only has 2 Gb of user accessible data and audio files usually take up 56 (KBs) or 56 Kilobytes for every second recording; and therefor allowing you to only record around 9 Hours of audio assuming you don't have any other data on your iPod such as music. If your would like to have this functionality I would recommend purchasing the 16GB 6th generation iPod touch for $199 USD.
