Magic Trackpad 2 charge while connected to Apple USB keyboard?

Is anyone using the new Magic Trackpad 2 with a full-sized Apple USB Keyboard? If so, can you tell me if the keyboard's USB ports will power and charge the trackpad and use it at the same time?

Hello, The full-size keyboard USB Ports work fine in OS X and are off when the Mac is shutdown. When using Windows in Boot Camp, the full-size keyboard USB Ports do not work, "not enough power" error. FYI.
