Try restarting both your iPhone and your watch. Turn both devices off first, then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:
- To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off.
- To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

Nov 8, 2015 8:36 AM in response to G3gatorby jjones6540,Hi George...
I restarted my watch when it occurred previously. This had seemed to fix the issue. I attributed it to it being the first walking workout since I did the upgrade to 2.0.1. That seemed to have fixed the issue until this morning. It occurred again. I have since accomplished the suggested restart procedure. I'm sure it'll work correctly for my next workout; however, I'm hoping that this isn't going to become a regular occurrence. Today, as I was just starting my walking workout, after the 3 second countdown was completed, I did receive an email notification on my watch. I'm thinking this may have somehow "tripped up" the workout app?!? I dunno... I'm just crazed at the idea that my circle didn't close. Lol!
