Q: How does the new NFL app work?

The NFL app is very important to my buying of the Apple TV. I will not buy it if the NFL app doesn't have GamePass features.

If anyone reading this has the new 4th generation Apple TV, can you please download the app and check? I know the old Apple TVs got an update to their NFL channel to support it, but I wasn't sure that the new one's app was caught up.

It may buy under in-app purchases or something.

I can confirm. Unlike the App Store for my iPhone 6, for which there's an nfl game pass app, which allows you to download games and watch them offline, the Apple TV 4 App Store (so far) only has the NFL Now app which the Apple TV 3 has. Within this app, with your game pass user and password,you can watch via streaming full games, condensed games, game highlights, red zone, nfl live, etcetera.
