Q: My MacBook pro has not been able to access my AOL email account for the last 4 days. The same account is working fine on my iPad.

When I try to access my AOL account on my MacBook Pro I get login failed.  The same same account is working fine on my iPad.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)
