    Not all BluRay players can use home-made standard DVDs.

    If You know anyone with a PlayStation 3 - Please test Your DVD here.

     

    I found this to be a good test for my DVDs - Video-DVD and AVCHD-coded DVDs

     

    Things that matter for me:

    - Brand of DVD used - I use only Verbatim

    - Type of DVD used - I use only DVD-R (others are lucky with DVD+R - but not me)

    - BURN SPEED - set down as slow possibly = LESS Burn Errors = Plays so much better

    - Free space on Boot Hard Disk - never less than 25Gb when using SD-Vodeo quality and about 100-150Gb as minimum when HD-material is used
