can't find driver for canon pixma mp630

I went to the Canon Canada site and the only drivers that showed up were for printing pictures, labels etc. What if I just want to be able to print regular documents? Where do I find the driver for that?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Thanks for the swift help PAHU! It worked but now I have a question about the scanner. I downloaded a link you previously sent to someone else (http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0100213314.html) but nothing happened after I installed it. I went to Printers and Scanners to add the scanner but couldn't find it in the list of things to add. I don't even know where it installed to because it's not listed in my Applications but it's installed on my HD somewhere.

The provided link is for the ICA driver. This is used by the in-house applications of Image Capture and Preview. When you install it nothing will appear to happen when the installation has completed, because it is simply copying files to the Mac. And you don't need to add the scanner component of the MP630 in Printers & Scanners. To scan, open Image Capture and select Shared section. The MP630 should be listed (similar to the MG6300 series that I have shown below) and when you select it, the scanning window will appear allowing you to scan.

Hmm okay. You don't usually have this issue with the USB connected device. Tends to happen more with networked devices.

At this stage I will suggest you try installing the MP630 scanner driver and Canon's MP Navigator scanning application in that order. Note that like the ICA driver, the MP630 scanner driver will install but it won't create a scanner in Printers & Scanners (and you don't need to). It simply copies files to the appropriate folder on the Mac and is required so that you can use MP Navigator (or any other TWAIN based scanning application). With the scanner driver installed and then MP Navigator installed, open the latter (it will reside in Application > Canon Utilities) and you should now be able to scan. Reply if this doesn't work.
