Bought an iPod with a "PartyCity Configuration Profile"

Hello everyone,

I recently bought an iPod 5th generation off of Amazon (used). It arrived in the mail yesterday, but when I tried setting it up it says "PartyCity Corporation will automatically configure your iPod Touch", and when I choose "Next" (Even though I do NOT want PartyCity "configuring" my iPod Touch, I just wanted to try and see if it would work), it asks for a username and password. I went back and pressed "About Configuration" and it says

"Configuration allows Party City Corporation to manage this iPod over the air.

An administrator can help you set up email and network accounts, install and configure apps, and manage settings remotely.

An administrator may disable features, install and remove apps, monitor and restrict your Internet traffic, and remotely erase this iPod.

Configuration is provided by:

Party City Corporation

Party City Retail Stores

25 Green Pond Rd. Suite 1,

Rockaway, NJ, 07866 (USA)"

I already reset the whole phone and updated to iOS 9, hasn't helped. I've contacted both the seller and PartyCity and neither has gotten back to me yet (though it's a weekend, so I would assume that's why). Is there a way for me to get this "configuration profile" or whatever off my phone without an "administrator"? Somebody help please....

Get the seller to do this:

Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account

Then connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iOS device will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Modeif necessary to allow the restore.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

For how to restore:

iTunes: Restoring iOS software

If you can't the them to remove it fro their account then return for a refund.

Apple will do nothing. Privacy concerns prevent them from getting involved in these situations.

Take it back and get your money back or get the seller to completely wipe it for you.

According to Google, LBrands may be the company that owns Victoria's Secrets, Bath and Body works, etc....you could try to contact them however the corporation as a whole (presuming they are the same as whomever set up your device) may not even know that their device was sold, or it could even have been stolen.
