I received a text message from iCloud_apple_info@icloud.com is it a scam?

My iPhone6 was recently stolen last month and I attempted to erase it through iCloud but its still pending until the phone is online. Today I received this message through text and do not know if it is false or not:

Your Apple ID was signed in iMessage on Dan 's iPhone.

Device: iPhone

IP address：17.172.224.47

OS: iOS 9.1
