Trying to install light scribe_1.18.27.10.pkg.tar

I need help installing light scribe software for my iMac. i've downloaded lightscribe_1.18.27.10.pkg.tar. it in turn opens lightscribe.pkg and I run the installation and it says there's an error because no software was found.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)
