Nov 8, 2015 11:44 PM in response to angelsfanby léonie,The image files in the Photos library and the Aperture library may be shared by hard links. A hard linked file is separate file, that is using the entry in the file table as the original file. Both files are regular files, and you can delete any of them without causing problems to the other. The operating system is counting the references to the entry in the file table and is not releasing the storage until no longer any hard link to these data exists. So deleting the Aperture library is o.k., as long as you have a backup, just in case you should notice later that you need to look up original image titles, books, smart albums in your Aperture library.
