Q: Adding apps and music to iCloud storage

I'm fairly new to using the whole iCloud thing. I have an iPhone 5C its an 8GB and its full already. I have stored my pictures on the cloud (I only have 8) so that didn't really free up any of the space on my phone. Most of my space is music and apps. I have gone to the thing that lets you select what memory from your apps you want stored, they are all selected. Then I backed up my phone on my computer but my phone is still saying its all out of space. Help or suggestions would be great! Thanks!

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.1

    Hello itsmia20,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you are trying to free up storage on your iPhone. This article would be the place to start to see how your storage is being used. Once you have looked at that, you can decide what you might be able to delete, move off or keep. Bear in mind that if you have purchased an app from the App Store and delete it, you can download a previous purchase at a later date if you want to reinstall it.

Check your storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
