iphone 3 pin locked but charged. how do i get to my old photos?

i simply cant remember my pin. its a very old phone and i want to retrieve the photos before it goes in the bin.

any ideas how i can unlock it?

If you can't remember the pin there's nothing you can do.

Can you import the photos off your phone using your computer?

are you able to talk me through importing the photos? i have a PC and an itunes account but when i plug the phone into the usb it doesnt seem to do anything? the phone is from 2012 and is pre cloud?
