Q: Replacing Time Machine with Airport Extreme and Hard Drive

I understand the moves to transfer the settings and backups from one Time Machine to a new Time Machine (in my case to a new Airport Extreme and External Hard Drive ) but what about the 2 Airport Expresses I have used to extend my home WiFi network-- will they then see the new Airport Extreme as the old Network Base Station since it has the settings of the old device or do I need to create a new home Network with the Airport Extreme and then link the Airport Expresses to that new network?

If the new AirPort Extreme is using the same wireless network name, same wireless security settings, and same wireless password as your "old" Apple wireless router.......in theory......the AirPort Express devices will extend the new AirPort Extreme network correctly with no further adjustments.

Let us know how well the theory tests out when you can.
