Why is my battery indicator yellow now instead of green

MY iPhone 6 used to show the battery life with the color green, but now it's yellow.. Anyone know why ??😕

The Low Power Mode is activated, that's why the battery charging icon is yellow. Go to Settings/Battery to disable it again.


Yellow icon: Low Power Mode is on. See Low Power Mode.

I Can't begin to tell you how much I don't get these phones. I know they are simpl to most people, but I am 45 & I'm just tired of not being able to figure all of this with cell photos, the cloud.... Ugh. Again Thank You

Just checked on my phone, when connected to power, the icon is green. If not connected, the icon is black or white, depending on the background of the app or screen you use.
