Nov 10, 2015 9:05 AM in response to Paolo24by a brody,10.7.5 will not run on a Powerbook.
Unless it says Powerbook on your screen frame, you don't have a Powerbook.
MacBook Pros are Intel.
Your signature saying 10.7.5 confuses matters. Older Intel Macs than July 20, 2011 support Mac OS X 10.6.8 and earlier, and are a better bet for moving between PowerPC and Intel Macs. Newer Macs than that date, only support the newer operating systems available at the time of their release.

Will Photoshop CS work on a new Mac ? My Photoshop CS2 didn't make the transition to Intel Mac, it was just SO unreliable.
Will Office work ? Office 2004 might.
