Q: macbook recovery

Hi!

I am unable to recover my macbook after installing a new harddisk (HD) Kernel Task ---Any suggestions on how to proceed?

What model MacBook?
How to identify MacBook models - Apple Support
If it has a DVD drive then insert a DVD install disk and boot from that and install OSX and upgrade as necessary.
If yo model has Internet Recovery then boot to that and install OSX.

Just how are you trying to install OSX?
How did you boot for the install?
What version are you trying to install?

Yes right while trying to recover with a backup
now i downloaded OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0 should i try with that one ?

I do not think that will help. This
OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0
includes
Note: In order to create an external OS X Recovery using the OS X Recovery Assistant, the Mac must have an existing Recovery HD.

Do you have another Mac?
Can you download from the Purchases section of the Mac App Store the installer for an OSX version?

you mean the whole OS X like for example Yosemite? And then save it on an usb stick?

Yes. After download the OSX installer make a bootable USB install media using
DiskMaker X
and then boot from that and format the internal drive and install. The install will also create a recovery partition

worked perfektly!
next ? its crashing after a few minutes with the new ram (2 x 4 gb 1066 ddr3 ) i put in..
its a unibody mid 2010

What specific memory did you install? Did the manufacturer guarantee it will work with your Mac?
Macs are picky about memory
