ATV4 Siri will not Reference My Movies in MY iTunes Library

When I asked siri to show me a movie in MY iTunes Library (personally own, not purchased through iTunes, in the m4v file format), it shows me the movie in the APPLE STORE and it asked me to purchase it even thought I already have it in my library. I am forced to navigate to the movie, via "MY COMPUTER"

How do I get siri to look in and reference MY extensive iTunes movie library?

Apple TV, tvOS 9.0.1, ATV4

Currently Siri does not have visibility to our personal media.

When you look for content with Siri or the Search app, Apple TV checks these content providers, with more coming soon:

  • United States: Movies and TV shows in iTunes, HBO GO, HBO NOW, Hulu, Netflix, SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME Anytime
  • Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and United Kingdom: Movies and TV shows available on the iTunes Store and Netflix
  • Other countries and regions: Movies in iTunes
