Bluetooth headphone pairing problem

I have Plantronics bluetooth headphone. If I switch off either the headphone or bluetooth connection on iPhone, I have to pair it every time with my iPhone 6, by doing following:

1.Select 'Plantronics bluetooth headphone' on iPhone 6

2. Select 'Forget this device' on iPhone 6

3. Press the button on Plantronics headphone till both red and blue lights flicker.

4. Select 'Plantrinics bluetooth headphone' on iPhone 6

Please help me with a permanent solution

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

I've used many Plantronics headsets and have never had an issue. What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

There was no problem in pairing when I had iPhone 4S. Now I have purchased iPhone 6 and have this problem of pairing with Plantronics headset. every time I have to pair it with iPhone as if I have purchased a new one.

I tried to register the complaint with Plantronics on their website. I received a message that an e-mail would be sent to my address and so far nothing has happened
