Q: Apple ID can only be used in one country

I created my Apple ID when I was traveling abroad (China). Now I find it cannot be used in any other copuntry. How do I fix that?

I have already read this--> If you can’t change your iTunes Store country or region - Apple Support

but none of those reasons apply to me. The error message clearly states "This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the Chinese iTunes Store. You will be switched to that store." By the way, I am not in iTunes, but I suppose there is one error message for both App Store and iTunes Store.

Yes, I suppose I could create a new Apple ID for each and every country where I travel, but that is ridiculous. Summary: How can I use one Apple ID worldwide?

Simple answer, you can't. The system was not created for you to use world-wide. The license for content is country specific by desire of the content developers and owners.

You may only use the Mac App Store or iTunes Store for the country in which you legally reside and can provide an authorized payment method for that country, such as a credit card issued by a bank in that country with a verifiable billing address in that country.

Every time that you change the country or region, you will lose the purchased content list for the previous country and no longer be alerted to available updates for that content.
