Q: Bootcamp gone after partitioning

I've looked throughRe: Repairing Boot Camp after creating new partition and can't seem to yield anything when following many of the steps given. I have very little experience with Mac so perhaps I didn't follow some steps properly.

I have a Macbook Pro running 10.9.5 OS.  I partitioned my drive using the Mac tool within OS and a Windows tool which I can't remember the name of on the MS side.  I didn't notice any issues until I left Windows for OS and tried rebooting into Windows again.  The Bootcamp option was gone:

At this point I'd be happy just to get the data off the Windows side and will buy a dedicated work computer once complete.  If someone could offer some guidance it would be appreciated

Here the result of the basic commands.  Thanks in advance.

dons-mbp:~ donharward$ sudo gdisk /dev/disk0

Are you getting a black screen/blinking cursor or a no bootable device? If the latter, can you try the following two steps and test?

You can download W7 Installer from Microsoft - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home. if your Mac support creating a USB Installer, use BCA to create a USB Installer, otherwise burn the downloaded ISO to a physical DVD, and boot from the Windows Installer and repair your W7 installation.

Okay. I'm a little reluctant to do more now as I've got my data back (my initial goal) and I'm about to leave on a trip that I'll need my computer for. Don't want any issues while on the road. I'll perform the above steps when I get back.

Thank you again for your support, I was sure my machine was gone at one point.

    Hi Loner T,

May I chime in here in this thread or do you want me to start a new thread? After trying to install Windows 10 on a septerate SSD, my EFI Windows 8.1 x64 SSD would boot anymore. Now I even get two start-up disks 1. Windows & 2. EFI Boot, for the Windows boot disk when using the option key:

    dual windows boot disks.jpg

I need help to fix this. Thanks in advance and directions appreciated!

    Cheers

I ran out of room on my bootcamp disk. Found a youtube video on how to change bootcamp partition size using mac disk utility, I believe he was running Mavericks. I am however running OS X 10.11, El Capitan and the interface has changed. I couldn't find any forums on how to do this on El Capitan, so I  messed around with Disk Utility trying to change the partition size. When I found that I could not modify the size of BOOTCAMP within disk utility, I deleted the additional partition that I had made in error. When I rebooted my computer holding alt, the BOOTCAMP option was gone.

I originally found this thread: Repairing Boot Camp after creating new partition and was redirected here.
Is there a way to get my bootcamp option back at boot? Would really appreciate the help!

Not very familiar with terminal but I am willing to go as far as needed, I need access to my bootcamp as soon as humanly possible.

Also, when I set the startup disk to BOOTCAMP, I get the "no bootable disk" line.

    Thanks!
