Oops wrong box. Please any ideas how to get my iPod to sync to desktop running win 10. I have loaded iTunes as instructed .
iPod shuffle, iOS 6.0.2, Win 10 desktop
What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Maybe:

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Nothing happens when I try to sync, it was synced to my defunct laptop but win10 doesn't want to know

If the iPod was previous synced to another computer/crashed HD then you have to backup to the computer and restore from backup
