Nov 17, 2015 6:53 AM in response to Symaxius1by at-verden,★HelpfulHi,
I am experiencing the same issue as Simon. I am using FCPX for many years now but never came across this issue. I am using the latest versions of software FCPX and OSX on an 2012 iMac.
Might be a glitch in the lastest version.

Nov 17, 2015 6:54 AM in response to at-verdenby Symaxius1,I am pleased I'm not the only one! Annoying glitch isn't it!
Does Apple read the forum? Or do I need to take this further?

Nov 22, 2015 5:34 AM in response to Damien.beby Tom Wolsky,Use 10.11.1. Did you read the thread? What have you done to correct it?

Nov 22, 2015 7:58 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby Damien.be,I use 10.11.1 and FCP10.2.2.
I have just update MACOS to 10.11.1. I had no problems with the previous version of MACOS (10.10.x).
Sorry, I have no solution to this problem. I've sent a feedback to Apple.
I'm waiting FCP10.2.3.

I have the same problem tonight it crashed at least 5 times in 20 minutes of use - I have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB card and have just updated the driver.
Thank you for the tip - so far so good after about 20 minutes of use. I will monitor it.
Cheers

Nov 24, 2015 10:02 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby Danny SF,I alos have the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB and updated to the driver given in you link. Still crashing every other time I apply stabilization to a clip in FCPX.
Tom, Is there any talk at Apple about investigating this issue. Seems very ironic that Apples own update is hurting the most serious users of their own professional software (defined by the choice to purchase a faster graphics card.

We're all users here. The best course of action is to tell Apple directly.
