Q: Messaging and notifications

I use my iphone as an alarm clock so I turn off all notifications to it except for phone calls. Since all notifications are off, I don't know when my wife messages me. I would like to turn on notifications for only her texts, is this possible?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.1

Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Sorry only works for phone call from your favorites and not text or imessage.
