I want to connect my apple tv 4 to a mac mini. Is this possible with a usb-c to usb connector ? Where to buy ?

The USB-C port on an Apple Tv is there only for service purposes. i.e Restoring.

You use the provided App Store App on the Apple TV to load Apps. There is no provision to install Apps from a computer.
So while you can certainly connect the Apple Tv to your computer using a USB-C to USB cable, i do not believe you can load any apps that way onto the Apple Tv.

I am sorry. I didn't know that sideloading was forbidden by apple. I read it all over the internet and i thought it was a way to test your own apple TVOS apps.
It's not "forbidden" per se but it does void the warranty and excludes from futre software updates...
How do you test new TVOS apps then (not all apps work with the simulator) ?
What are you wanting to "test"? Just download an app from the App Store and use it. If you don't like it then delete it...
The "simulator" is a developers tool. Maybe a developer forum is more appropriate for the question?

You need to use TestFlight to install the App onto an Apple Tv.
