Q: "This app is incompatible with all your devices"

Does anyone have any idea what Android devices are supported at this time?

It's like if Google Music came out for iOS but didn't work on iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches or Apple TVs.

Hello team, I only know much about the apple music app on iOS because I use it on my iPod touch. I am not sure about the apple music app on android though, but I think the Nexus 4 and other sampsung smart phones and tablets should be able to support apple music if they support google play music. If I remember correctly, I think you have to open the apple music app on your android devices and tap "join apple music."

Sure. That's what they say. I get the same message using Nexus 5 running Marshmallow.

I have contacted support. Apple Music is currently not supported on tablets according to the anwser I received from them. The incopatibility message in my case was due to market (in)availibility, I could find the app on the local Play Store website (where my devices where deemed incompatible) but not on my Play Store app. As of few hours ago, the app is compatible with my Nexus 5 on the web, and I can also find the app on my Play Store app.

    I've tried on a Sony Xperia Z1 phone running 5.1, a Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 running 5.1, and a Motorola Moto G running 5.0.

This app is incompatible with all my devices.  Have to wonder what indeed it /is/ compatible with.

I'm actively looking for a new streaming service, but doesn't (yet) look like this is it.

Doesn't work on my brand new nvidia shield tv, says it's not compatible. This is really a major concern for me, the kind that can make me switch back to spotify.

Apple Music on Android does not install on all devices. It does not even appear on playstore searches from the device. Once I found the application through a link on the web, I tried installing it from my playstore account on the PC. And the message remains -  This App is incompatible with your device. And this condition wont let me install it remotely either. Now that I hear it is a common issue with many devices, Apple should take note or publish a list of compatible devices with model numbers and market places which will be a humongous task!!! (which does not make sense when Android OS specs are being met)

Any suggestions? For the records, I am using a HTC One. Apple Music -Incompatible Device.jpg

I'm back to Spotify, Apple Music wasn't really user friendly and the lack of will by Apple to solve this problem is too much for me. Maybe later
