iPhone 6s locked to three

Hi

i purchased my iPhone 6s through mobiles.co.uk but while waiting for my new sim for the new contract i put my current three sim in. Apparently this has caused my phone to lock to three and now won't accept my new o2 sim.

I Have contacted three who are saying my phone is unlocked to work with all networks and do restore my phone and put my new sim in and it will work. However when I do this I get a message saying sim not valid. Does anyone know how I can get it unlocked so I can start using my new contract?

What is the full message you get when you try to use the 3 SIM?

I'm not familiar with mobiles.com.uk. I know that phones purchased from Carphone Warehouse do lock to the first cell provider you use.

When you restored your iPhone did you do so with the 3 SIM in it and a restored it as a NEW iPhone rather than from backup?

I Have tried it with the new sim and half way through the restore it gives me the same screen as above. Using the old sim i have just tried doing as a new phone rather than a backup but it still isn't working

With the 3 nanoSIM in it connect your iPhone to iTunes and Restore your iPhone in iTunes as a new phone. If 3 has unlocked it as they said you should get a message, "Congratulations, your iPhone is now unlocked". If you don't it is still locked to them.

Did you manage to unlock your iPhone in the end? Mine has the same problem!
