New Ipod won't let me enter a wifi username, only password

I'm trying to enter the username and password for my school's wifi. I've done it once before without problem. I click on the wifi, it takes me to the seprate webpage where I would put in my username and password, but now it will not allow me to enter the username.

The keyboard will not come up for the username box, and will only allow me to enter my password. I click the box and the indicator for typing is in the box. However the keyboard is just a thing on the bottom with two arrows one that points to Password and the done button. Pushing the arrow auto takes the typing indicator to the password box.

I've tried forgetting the network, resetting the network, putting in my own DSN, Changing the settings.
