Q: El Capitan Freezes on wake

Hi.

I've been forced to manually shutdown my Macbook (13' Mid '12, Ver. 10.11.1) more than several times, since the latest OSX installation. I haven't had this kind of problem on other OSX Major installs, so can someone point me at the right direction of solving the problem.

Hello ledjape,

It sounds like your MacBook Pro is intermittently becoming unresponsive since upgrading to OS X El Capitan. Try taking a look at the article below which provides a lot of great information that you can use to identify and resolve the issue that's causing the device to stop responding.

Yeah, after experiencing more kernel panic situations, I am a bit startled and just for the record, I don't receive a display message after log in (such as "Your computer restarted because of a problem." or.. "You shut down your computer because of a problem." );
