Q: Keynote underline colour differs from text colour

Sorry, for some reason a part of the question is missing.  I would like to match the colour of the underline with the colour of the text.  I've tried everything so far - without success.

Thanks for trying to help, Gary.  I am using Keynote (version 6.6 2550).  I type the text, but when I underline, the colour of the line is blue. I searched and found a solution for an older Keynote version.  However, the latest version does not have a dropdown menu with the colours, so it seems impossible to change the colour when using the latest version. I hope you are still there, Gary! Seven months later, and I am adding information to my slides.  The (default) blue underline is back - and the old "trick" does not work! Please help - it should be underlined in brown, not blue!!
