Whilst on holiday, a charger melted with my ipod still plugged in. It wont turn on anymore, is there anyway I can get my photos from it? I already checked my Icloud and they weren't backed up.

Whilst on holiday, a charger melted with my ipod still plugged in. It wont turn on anymore, is there anyway I can get my photos from it? I already checked my Icloud and they weren't backed up.

I work a lot of hours and don't have much time to go to the apple store, so if it can be avoided that would be better.

If you connect the iPod to a computer and the computer does not see the iPod then your only hope is a data recovery company

You should be able to download your photo's from Icloud on your computer once u turn on your computer and itunes recognize ur device. I hope my answer helps u, Fred!!!

However another option is to open up the device and take out the melted parts of he cahrger in a repair shop or by yourself. And if your worried about data, you can access the data via taking it out and seting it up as a flashdrive so you can take out the data
