Q: Workaround on Mac to Add iTunes Store Music To Apple Music?
Using iTunes on the Mac, I want to be able to add any music on the iTunes Store to my library. Apple allows directly adding only music from the New or For You tabs, or from within Apple Music; you can’t search in the iTunes Store tab (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204839). I can do this in iOS, but it’s far easier to organize my music library on the Mac rather than an iPhone.
Has anyone found a “simple” method for doing this? I devised a very cumbersome workaround (too complicated to describe), but I’m hoping some Apple Music pros have found an easier solution.
I find the new iTunes interface fairly confusing, so I hope my question is clear, and thanks.
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 2.3 GHz intel Core i5

swandy, you’re correct. On the iPhone, I was adding music from the “All Apple Music” tab in the Music app. I was confused by the fact that when I switched to Mac iTunes, I could add it to existing playlists, play it offline etc. The music will disappear, of course, if I unsubscribe from Apple Music.

swandy's answer is the solution -- marked the wrong one. Sorry!
