The top memory chip slot in my 09 Mini does not hold it securely.

I replaced the (2) 1 GB memory with (2) 4 GB in my early 09 Mac mini.

The top slot does not hold it securely and it slides up and down. My computer only recognized 4 GB of memory.

Is there a way to secure it? Electrical tape? Thanks!

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

I would try something better than electrical tape. My experience with electrical tape it that after some time. faster with the temps inside the Mini the adhesive will loosen and ooze out.

I would try a fast-setting glue but not in slots/contact area
