Q: Keyboard Viewer Keeps Changing

I sometimes use the keyboard viewer. Lately, it keeps switching between the mini/laptop keyboard layout and an extended layout with keypad and stuff. I have started using an external mini keyboard, for ergonomics, so maybe that has something to do with this. It's aggravating either way.

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

    I am using keyboard viewer instead of the keyboard, no, o try to see if it ilves sme of the acccessibility problems I've had with keyboards.

     

    I have trouble using the narrow scrollbars, and can't use scrollwheels, so I use Scroll+, and I uae page up and page don buttons on my mouse. It turns out that these trigger the accursed switch.

     

    In addition, it shuk toan unusable size when  tried to close it, amd expanded to another unuaable siE.
