Hearing volume on iPhone 6

Unable to increase volume to hear during phone calls. Ok with ear piece and loud speaker, also while listening to music or a video or playing a game, I can adjust the sound volume with the buttons on the left hand side of the phone.

Obviously, during a call I have used the volume button on the left hand side of the phone, but no change. I've checked under sound in Settings & found only one option to increase the Ringer & Alerts sound. This is not the answer to fix the problem.

Does anyone have the answer or a similar problem with their iPhone 6?

Cheers

Hi sonofabeach,

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPhone. If you are having volume issues specifically with phone calls and/or the receiver speaker (the one placed to your ear during a call), you may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful, up to and including contacting Apple Support directly if necessary.
