I just found an old CD from a company called Optimistik Animation that has some cool LiveType Fonts. I used these a lot (especially a Scripted font that would look like someone was writing cursive on the screen). Is there a way to install and use these fonts in Motion 5? Optimistik Animation is out of business so I can't contact them for support.
Most of what you could do with LiveType has been built into Motion (with Sequence Text behaviors) and so LiveType was deprecated and removed from Motion 5. If you have Final Cut Pro Studio 3, you can probably still use them in Final Cut and in LiveType (which appear to still run in El Capitan.) Motion 4 has been dead for awhile now, but if you have an older mac that is running Mavericks (back to about Lion), you could use that machine to run Motion 4 (or even Motion 3.)
