reorder address field in contacts

I have an older home mailing address that is ordered above my current address in my own contact card. I would like to keep the old address on file as I still use the address occasionally but I don't want it to be the default address for auto completing forms or for my contact card.

I can't seem to find any way to reorder or make an address primary home address. When I click edit addresses, I see little blue arrows which appear as if they would reorder priority or something, but the only thing I seem to be able to do is change the category of the address, but not the order.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that you have a new address that you would like to be your default address and would like to reorder the addresses. To do this you may actually need to delete the old address, thus making the new address the primary address. After deleting the old one, you can add it back to your contact card and it will now be the secondary address.
