Greetings!

MAC os 10.8.5 ( that is what my "about my MAC" says

I am downloading a document, it is auto saved to TextEdit. I need to save it to a word document. Online searches tell me to click TextEdit and use "save as" button from drop down. there is no "save as' option.

Help please?
