Mac won't turn on

My Mac won't turn on. It is charging fine but power button does nothing. Tried to reset the SMC but nothing happens. Power cord changes colours but that is it.

i can't talk to anyone online at Mac as they require my serial number.... Which I can't get because my computer won't turn on!!!
