i'm having trouble downloading google chrome onto my kindle fire directly & so wondered how to do it via my macbook - can anyone walk me through it? thanks!

That would be a question for Amazon. Do they offer a management App for their Kindle Fire that runs on a Mac?
Does it have access to the Google Play Store / Amazon App Store to download Apps?
This really has very little to do with the Mac side and more with what Amazon makes available for their devices.

Asking in the Amazon support forums would be a better choice. Though I don't believe they make an App like iTunes to access their App store from a computer.
unfort, amazon doesn't like anyone else's search engine on their machine, they use something called silk so they are not helpful & it's a bit confusing, i was hoping someone here had managed it. thanks anyway.
