Safari has a bankworm virus warning window pop up?

Is it a scam and if the computer has been scanned and MacKeeper has been offered to be downloaded has my computer been breached in some way?

These windows keep popping up!

1. Yes. Choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If the message reappears, disconnect the computer from the Internet and erase that site from the browser history.

2. Probably not.
