We are working on a huge project with terabytes of data. Each project has 2 r3d files of around 40 mins which are 4k resolution, a 1080p black magic camera and an external audio track. In the past we had been using multicam to sync and it was doing it in seconds. Now it is taking upwards of 5 minutes. Performance is getting really sluggish.
Editing on a new mac pro, 8 core, 64GB ram, D700s. Media is stored on a GTECH Studio XL 48 TB set at RAID 5 with over 10TB free space.
Any ideas?
