Set up is French, we need English

Set up is French, we need English

We just plugged our brand new Apple TV in and turned it on. It opened up in French with closed captioning turned on as well. We need English to do the set up/configuration. Help!

Still not fixed in late 2017. My French lessons from 45 years ago were put to the test. The device selects UK (Albeit Royaume Uni), so why in French.

No sorry. The issue was in the initial configuration.

The hardware was set to French with cc turned on at the factory. Apple support walked us through set up in French before we could even get to the settings area within the Apple TV to change it to English.
