Currently the iPhone/iPad Bluetooth support is only available for the initial setup (Wifi, iTunes & iCloud information). during this setup it doesn't actually "pair" with the ATV. Additionally, the remote app/Bluetooth keyboards are not supported...

Nov 13, 2015 3:50 PM in response to Protoddby crayms,Thanks for your reply. I copied this instruction from the page you shared -- can you explain how this works?
Use peer-to-peer AirPlayWith peer-to-peer AirPlay, your iOS device and Apple TV don't have to be on the same Wi-Fi network. To use peer-to-peer AirPlay, you need one of these devices with iOS 8 or later:
- iPhone 5 or later
- iPad mini or iPad (4th generation or later)
- iPod touch (5th generation or later)
You can stream content to your Apple TV (3rd generation rev A, model A1469 or later).

Nov 13, 2015 4:18 PM in response to Protoddby crayms,I am giving a presentation tomorrow in a location that doesn't have wi-fi. I went to the Apple Store and bought a lightning to HDMI cable. Not ideal, but it will work in a pinch. Nothing like the last minute. It just seems like this should easy to do via Bluetooth -- without wi-fi. All good. Thanks for everyone's help.
