Apps can not be shared, you can buy iPhoto 11 if you want to, or not. It is your choice.

Not sure why you think it's absurd. Every product has a life cycle - Ford don't make the Model T anymore - and iPhoto has come to the end of its one. Apple don't make it and don't sell it any more.

iPhoto11 was available to buy from the autumn of 2010 to the Spring of 2015 - or some four and a half years, so it's not like you didn't have plenty of opportunity to upgrade.

The new Photos.app will read an iPhoto Library, is aimed at broadly the same users, has additional features in processing and cross platform management, and it is free. It does not have an exact feature match for iPhoto but most people will find it at least acceptable and perhaps an improvement.

Ok. Apple can stop updating it but if sometime I bought it and want to keep using it it should be allowed. There should be a way of updating it to the last version even when it is not produced anymore. If I want to buy an old "Model T" I certanly can, or if I had it when they stopped produced it would still work.

So Photos did not read my iPhoto Library. When I upgraded to El Capitan all my Library was lost. That is an absurd.

Are you sure I cant upgrade my iPhoto by Family Sharing? Family Sharing - Apple Support

I believe the article you're linking to only refers to iOS applications. I see no mention of Macs.

but if sometime I bought it and want to keep using it it should be allowed.

Of course that's allowed. It's not like someone came by and took it away from you. Use it as long as you want.

There should be a way of updating it to the last version even when it is not produced anymore.

And there is, for people who owned iPhoto 11. But you didn't buy iPhoto 11.   iPhoto11 is a different product and would have cost you money

If I want to buy an old "Model T" I certanly can, or if I had it when they stopped produced it would still work.

Not from Ford you can't. And yes, you can buy an iLife disk on Amazon or wherever, but there'll be no way to update it I'm faired - a bit like trying to get parts for the Model T from Ford.

So Photos did not read my iPhoto Library. When I upgraded to El Capitan all my Library was lost. That is an absurd.

Well that is a different issue and one you can troubleshoot by all means. But I would point out that this is the first time you mention this issue. All you've been talking about is reverting to iPhoto because you dislike the the new app. If you want to trouble shoot that the Photos for Mac forum is here

Had you previously updated the app with the App Store? If not there's nothing you can do.
