    Hello mikenowo,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that iTunes is quitting unexpectedly on your Windows PC when you click on the Apps tab.  To help troubleshoot this issue please follow through the steps in the link below.

I used the instructions on this website (http://www.cnet.com/how-to/uninstall-itunes-completely-and-then-reinstall-a-new- copy/) to fix the issue. I had to uninstall ALL the components that iTunes adds and also make sure the directories for those programs were deleted as well. Then when I installed the latest version of iTunes it worked fine. Seems that older versions of files were causing the problem.

    SO basically:

    1-Uninstall (in this order):

    -iTunes

    -Apple Software Update

    -Apple Mobile Device Support

    -Bonjour

    -Apple Application Support

    --

After uninstalling the Apple programs, restart the PC and make sure the

following folders have been deleted (if they're still around, delete them):

(for 32bit programs they will be in 'C:\Program Files'; for 64bit 'C:\Program Files (x86)')

    -C:\Program Files\Bonjour
    -C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\
    -C:\Program Files\iTunes\
    -C:\Program Files\iPod\
