Q: i have a apple ipod 4th generation and in the itunes store when i try to restore it says unknown occured (9) i tried everything to restore this ipod what could be wrong with it

i tried restoring my ipod 4th generation on itunes and im getting this unknown error occured (9) after it tries to restore it i have no idea whats wrong with it keeps saying usb related issue i tried different ipod cords i tried updating my computer i believe i have the lastest itunes have no clue whats going on and there is no way of getting a hold of apple

Check your security software
Errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1611, 9006.
Sometimes security software can stop your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't blocking a connection to the Apple servers.
If you still see the error message, check for USB connection issues.
