Q: Can't see music from my iPhone in iTunes

Hi,

I am able to see my complete library on my iPhone. When I connect my iPhone to iTunes however, I only see a handful of songs that I manually transferred to my phone at a previous date. Does anyone out there have an explanation for this?

    Hello tbross1970,

     

    Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

     

    I understand that you are not seeing all of your music in your iTunes library when you do see it on your iPhone. This could be because this music isn’t actually in your computer’s iTunes library. 

     

    If the music was purchased from iTunes, you have a couple of different ways to get this content into your iTunes library. You can download all of your past purchases directly from within iTunes or you can transfer your purchases from the iPhone to the computer. The link below explain each process.

    Thanks for replying and letting us know that you are still having the issue. What part is not working? Dif you try to transfer your purchases? Did you try to download them to your iTunes library? If you tried to download your purchases to your iTunes library from iTunes, did the downloads not work? Did you see all of your purchases? Is the content you're trying to get into your iTunes library purchased from iTunes?
