Q: iPad has message must activate, but won't activate bcz can't find server

iPad worked fine last night, plugged it in to charge overnight, now a message appears have to activate iPad, tried to and get a message server is down. Tried this 4 times, same thing happens.

I understand that you are unable to activate your iPad after you charging. I have attached the best troubleshooting article to go through. This article is labeled for an iPhone, but the steps still apply.
